Welcome to, Afrikhaya Guest House, our surprisingly different African home. Your Dutch hosts have been traveling the world for many years and finally lost their hearts and found their souls in this unique part of Africa. We invite you to enjoy an unforgettable experience of African ambience, magnificent natural beauty and prolific wildlife. Afrikhaya Guest House is located in the North-Eastern part of South Africa on the Elephant Coast in the picturesque village of St. Lucia, which is situated between the warm Indian Ocean and the St.Lucia estuary.

Only a 2½ hours drive North of Durban into beautiful KwaZulu-Natal, you can explore the beauty of the iSimangaliso (the Greater St.Lucia) Wetland Park, proclaimed a Natural World Heritage Site in 1999 by UNESCO . Because our strategic positioning, you can use St. Lucia as a gateway to the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park and the world famous Hluhluwe / iMfolozi Game Reserve, home to the Big 5. St Lucia is blessed with a subtropical climate that ensures good weather all year round and the area is malaria free.

The beautiful unspoilt beaches are by car only a short drive away. We can assist and advice you with your travel arrangements and organize several tours or packages, from 2 hours to 3 or more days, according to your specific wishes.
